All that is gold does glitter! I am about to nerd out on y’all in a major way… the original phrase, ‘all that is gold does not glitter,’ is the title of a poem written by J.R.R. Tolkien for The Lord of the Rings.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
When I went on my own ring quest I found these ‘precious’ beauties (find ones with your initials!) at CatBird!
