Yesterday was the 150th birthday of Gustav Klimt. Born on July 14, 1862, Gustav worked with gold leaf in some of his most well-known pieces, such as The Kiss (seen in this wedding inspiration board) and the Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (below). The golds, rusty reds, and subtle greens in his works are perfection.
