out of africa (reader request)

safari themed wedding New Zealander Wendy wrote to me and let me know that she is headed off to Kuthaba Safari Lodge in South Africa for her cousin Ashleigh’s wedding – and Wendy is one of the bridesmaids! She wanted these inspiration boards to be a surprise for Ashleigh and Craig – isn’t that the sweetest thing?! Ashleigh & Craig’s wedding will have a champagne and ivory color palette with an ‘Out of Africa’ vibe – I love it! And what’s even better is that Wendy wrote a note for her cousin – scroll down to see it!

African safari themed wedding Dear Ash and Craig,

Although your journey towards forever has just begun, I just wanted to say ….

May your love for each other,

Carry you through the adventures of life.

I wish that your dreams are big, and your troubles are small.

Always remember,  that loving someone is a leap of faith.

You are giving them your heart ,

and trusting them not to break it.

I wish for you, a life of laughter and a life of happiness,

But most importantly, I wish that your love for one another,

only grows with time and never fades.

I am so honoured to be a part of your special day, and cannot wait until we are together again to celebrate your love for each other.

Let the countdown begin.

Love always Wends x

Out of Africa Themed WeddingCongratulations to Ashleigh & Craig on your engagement and thank you Wendy for requesting these inspiration boards for them!

  1. Love this! Truly awesome!

  2. I sent this to Jen and she loves it although she’s disappointed in the lack of loincloths. (jk, she hates it that whenever she wants to look for African themed weddings she only gets animal print and loin cloths and spears–kind of hilariously offensive if you think about it)
