peach and green wedding inspiration board

Jenneva and Elliott are getting married in August in Michigan and are having a barn wedding. When Jenneva requested this wedding inspiration board she let me know that she and Elliott are both ceramic artists and that all the artist themed wedding inspiration they keep finding is for painters. They want to somehow incorporate their love of clay and ceramics into their big day while keeping the whole look DIY, slightly casual, and with a color palette of peach and green. This charming duo is even considering making ceramic favors and platters for their big day!

wedding color palette There are so many ways to incorporate ceramics into your wedding! The first way is as wedding favors. The little ceramic hearts shown in the inspiration board above with ‘thank you’ etched into them are sweet and a lovely handmade gift of thanks for your guests. These would be perfect placed atop menus at each reception place setting, or you can even go a step further and have them double as place cards/escort cards and personalize them with the name of each guest.

Another nice touch is to create a ceramic platter (shown in the inspiration board below) and use it as a guest book. Include your names and the date of your wedding on it and leave lots of space for everyone to sign! Ceramic table numbers are another way to share your art (also below) as well as a clay cake topper, cake stand, centerpiece containers, and a ceramic bowl for the ring bearer to carry the rings.

  1. Love that peachy ceramic color paired with the fresh green! So easy on the eye : )

  2. Ooooh thank you so much! I think my favorite part is that bouquet– love the pairing of the delicate ferns with the lush fabric! I think a pure white clay is the way to go for any favors or decor I make, it’s so clean and fresh. We are having a peach rosette pie instead of a cake, but we could still make a little topper out of clay! My favorite idea so far, if there is anyone else out there with as specific a theme as I have, is that we’re going to make a clay-mation invitation video instead of sending out paper invites…so excited about this! Should be a really fun project for us to work on together, and is basically free!

  3. I love that this couple is going to incorporate handmade clay and ceramic elements into their wedding. They’ve chosen a really lovely palette, too. The peach calligraphy and the peach bouquet ribbon are a must! I hope we get to see their claymation invitation video!

  4. Loving your colour scheme…. Absolutely love your program’s. we’re did u get those from. Would love them for my wedding next year :)
