bridal boudoir

There’s a certain type of inspiration shoot I’ve not yet featured on this blog before: a boudoir shoot. To be totally honest with you it’s because one of my ideas of a nightmare is posing in my panties in front of a photographer I barely know. I applaud women who are brave enough and confident enough to do this and I think it’s a fabulous idea, but I never thought it was for me. This boudoir inspiration shoot from Chris and Kristen Fine Art Photography and their two lovely models has completely changed my mind though. Why? It’s SO classy! It’s proof that you don’t need to bare (almost) all to gift yourself and your fiancé  stunningly gorgeous photographs of you at your pre-wedding best. I’m officially a convert and you will be too after seeing these!

Aren’t these pictures lovely!? The props, the puppy, that stunning dress – everything about this shoot is perfection! If there is one thing to take away from this shoot (aside from the fact that brilliant blue butterflies, puppies, and antique books are awesome) is that boudoir shoots are all about your state of mind. Looking and feeling beautiful and sexy doesn’t mean you’ve got to bare all.

Thank you Chris and Kirsten for sharing these lovely images with us!
