You were expecting a Sunday Edition, weren’t you? Well, I have a special treat for you instead since I’ve been off island all week at my Dad’s surprise birthday party. Today we have this stunning black and white Chanel inspired shoot from Bit of Ivory Photography and Orchestrated Stylized Shoots called “Ink & Pearl” (side note: check out this super exciting announcement from BB & Orchestrated Stylized Shoots here). We don’t often see styled shoots in just black and white, but that’s what is so eye-catching about this one. It’s so unique that I just couldn’t resist it!
Chelsea LaVere said this about the shoot: “It’s an intimate affair. The bride and groom have already had a private elopement ceremony and have returned to host a lovely reception of desserts, treats, and eye candy galore… with a fine arts spin. “Ink & Pearl” channels Coco Chanel and the fine arts world. Think nothing but black, white, and hints of silver. It was ultra chic and elegant. With the resurgence in popularity with film, we wanted to showcase that stories and images are just as beautiful in black and white as they are in color.”
And indeed they are! What do you think of this gorgeous black and white styled shoot? It’s certainly different, but to me that’s what makes it so special. Be sure to take a look at this video that includes some behind the scenes peeks at all these wonderful vendors!
