This rustic chic coral and blue wedding inspiration board was requested by Jordan (who also happens to be a former student of mine!) for her cousin Katherine who is getting married to Eric this summer. Their reception is at the beautiful and quaint Drexel Hall Ballroom in Kansas City, Missouri which has lovely white washed wood paneling and big bright windows.
Jordan wrote and said that her cousin Katherine and fiancé Eric are country lovers and want to use a palette of royal blue and coral for their wedding. This combination is perfect for a ballroom wedding and I recommend warming it up, since it is a summer wedding, with touches of matte gold and light blue. This also adds a sophisticated and elegant look to the country vibe. One of the details I’m particularly in love with in this inspiration board are the spray painted horseshoe escort cards which could also function as wedding favors. The long bridesmaids dresses, while not typically worn for summer weddings, are a unique and modest touch that will also have your bridesmaids thanking you because we all know what the air conditioning use is like during Midwestern summers!
Congratulations to Katherine and Eric on your engagement and thank you Jordan for requesting this inspiration board for them! Brides-to-be: don’t forget that you can get your own custom board here and view what other brides are requesting here.
