weekend project: the lonely bouquet

Have you heard of The Lonely Bouquet yet? I read about it on Style Me Pretty the other day and just had to share this idea with you – it’s too sweet not to!

The basic concept is that you create a bouquet from flowers in your garden or from your local florist if you have nothing in bloom right now and leave it somewhere to brighten the day of an unknowing stranger.

Amazing right?! These few images from Cambria Grace Photography and Pollen Floral Design give you the basic gist of the concept but be sure to take a look at the full shoot over on SMP.

To view other Lonely Bouquets search #thelonelybouquet on Instagram (I saw one that was left at an elderly assisted living facility & just the thought of the kindness behind doing that brought tears to my eyes) and if you want to get a little more involved go to the official Lonely Bouquet website where you can track  abandoned and adopted bouquets around the world.

Where do you plan on leaving your lonely bouquet this weekend?
