Did you catch part 1 of this vendor spotlight yet? Nikkol of Peter Loves Jane has been sharing some of the most creative, custom designs in wedding paper goods along with images from the styled shoots that they were made for!
The glamorous amber and bronze inspiration shoot below has both DIY and custom design elements in it. Nikkol made the gold dot garland from metallic paper and fishing line and also designed the invitation suite to go with it.
Up next is an earthy bohemian styled shoot and the invitations designed by Peter Loves Jane definitely enhance the free-spirited vibe. I love the little feather detailing on them!
Preppy, seaside design doesn’t get any better than this refreshing ocean inspired shoot. Nikkol knocked the ball out of the park with this adorable blue sea life and nautical themed invitation suite and menu set.
From Nikkol of Peter Loves Jane – “One of my favorites is the Shoestring wedding shoot (below). This concept came to life as I was telling a newbie to the wedding industry that DIY weddings have become a trend in and of themselves, and that a current day “DIY wedding” is far from budget friendly. I wanted to show brides how a budget wedding could be done.
For starters, it meant cutting the guest list from 400 to less than 50. After that, I feel that a bride should always splurge on a photographer because the images are the one tangible memory you will have from your wedding. Along with my opinion, I gave brides ideas on how to cut expenses.
For this particular shoot, I splurged on the photographer and flowers and gave the brides a free download for their invitation so that they could still send out an adorable invitation, while saving money at the same time. Naturally, I think custom invitations are the way to go, and I have another installment of my Shoestring wedding series coming up in November where the invitations were the splurge.”
