  43. I feel so self conscious saying this, but I would love this for me. You see, I am a closet creative. When I was a little girl, I wanted to grow up to be an artist, but never thought I possessed the talent. Blogging has been a creative release to be sure, but I also have this vintage 1974 Minolta SLR camera that calls to me. I’ve had it for ten years. I want to start expressing myself by finding, capturing and reflecting everyday beauty, but it’s so intimidating. I just don’t know where to begin. I can just see myself over the holiday with a workshop in a box, exploring that creative soul within me, that has been dying to come out.

  44. I would love this for myself!

  96. looks like the perfect Christmas gift for me. πŸ™‚

  97. I would use it! Why? I just got married in October and we had a fine art photographer (his gear: Contax 645 + 400H). His photographs from our engagement/wedding have sparked a new level of film interest for me (I did digital as a hobby). I have my fathers old/trusty AE-1 that I took on our honeymoon to Aruba. I don’t have a proper light meter (using a Luxi for my iPhone), but I had soooo much fun using film. I just got the pictures back from Richard Photo Lab today and can’t stop smiling. I have much much more to learn…and Jen Juang is one of the best….A workshop in a box will help me greatly in making sure I get the best out of my new hobby…Hopefully the wife doesn’t mind having me use her as a model πŸ™‚

    Cheers!

  98. Oooh, I must admit… I’d keep it for myself!

And would get me back my trust in give aways!, hehe to be honest I always suscribe and never win πŸ™ { ever! } I hope this is my end of the year blessing. 105. I’ll love it for myself πŸ™‚

  106. I have been eye’ing off this workshop in a box since Jen released it… It’s simply so, so beautiful and epitomizes everything that I love about film photography. The tangibility of it all and the way her personality is infused in a box is something that I want my brand to emulate. Everyone needs to have one of these boxes! Even photographers! There is no doubt in my mind that whoever gets this box will be blessed beyond description. Why do I want it though? Well, the answer is that I know that Jen’s workshop-in-a-box could only make me a better photographer – and the flow-on effect from that is that the better one is at what they do – the happier their clients are. Happy clients = great word of mouth. Great word of mouth = potentially more bookings. More bookings = a greater earning potential. The more you earn – the greater your footprint. I’m not talking just about success – I’m talking about being in a position where you can actually contribute to, and be involved in activities and programs that actually make a difference. A bit philosophical I know…but I’m at that place where I know what I want to do…and now it’s just a matter of getting there. xx Bec xx

  107. I’ve been u h a fan of her work- would be thrilled to receive this!

  108. Инна says:

    I would use it!

  109. My wife has recently started a small photography business. I know the pressures of a home business can be a burden at times, even if you’re doing what you love. Well, she’s my best friend, mother of our two small kiddies, and her birthday is coming up in the first week of December. This Workshop in a Box would bring a lot of happiness and inspiration to her, and I know she deserves it. Good luck to everyone.

  110. I would love this box! Jen has such lovely work and I would love her workshop in a box!

  111. I would, selfishly, LOVE this for myself! =)

  116. It would be lovely to gift this to my sister. Your work makes her happy πŸ™‚

  117. Jen has beautiful work, would’ve to flip through the pages.

  118. Oh beautiful Jen Huang, this would be my perfect. Christmas gift and New Years inspiration for my return to film x

  119. Joseph Jamieson Williams says:

I’ve recently come to the realization that I’m trying to make my photography fit into something that is readily commercial instead of doing what I love and trying to make that commercial in itself. Does that make sense? I truly do my best work in the quiet – with time, thought and simplicity – honestly appreciating natural light for its authenticity. Why should the use of strobe lights make me feel like more of a professional if it’s something I don’t actually like the look of?

I have decided to do what I love. No more corporate photos, etc. I just bought a Mamiya 645 (can’t afford a Contax right now) and have fallen in love with the sound of the shutter. The slower pace of film certainly lends itself to my disposition. This is what I want to do and it’s about time I focus on that.

Jen’s delicate work has always been a source of inspiration and I look forward to finding the money to do her workshop someday. But for now – the workshop in a box would be most helpful!

  120. Lisa Saint says:

Oh my goodness this is a work of art in itself. Me and my gorgeous fiance recently got engaged and I would love to use this to capture our beautiful wedding day at lake garda

  121. Love it! Want it!
