Shot beautifully by Jennifer of J. Woodbery Photography, this French cafe styled shoot combines some really fabulous trends in a chic and sophisticated way.
Emerald colors, black & white stripes, succulents, hand-dipped gold glitter silverware, and a vintage gown that can be worn as a wedding dress, rehearsal dinner gown, or a bridesmaid’s dress are just a few of the amazing details to be on the lookout for!
Ann Marie of Tres Beau Weddings & Events – “To keep a French-inspired, luxe palette from becoming overly feminine we used pops of bold and modern black and white stripes. Antique china was paired with sleek flatware that had been hand-dipped in gold paint and glitter. Imported French sparkling lemonade was served with whimsical striped straws in champagne glasses.”
Jackie of Rawwbeauty Makeup Artistry – “I chose emeralds and golds to accent the colors that Ann Marie chose. Plus, emerald is Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2013 which I definitely wanted to incorporate. I found it really fitting to add a pop of color against the blush dress.”
Tammy of Brides and Belles Hair Design – “My inspiration for the hair came from the dress. It had a very romantic and vintage feel to it that I wanted to reflect in the hair. It called to mind pictures of my grandmother from the late 50’s and early 60’s. I wanted to try to recreate a style she would have worn. I combined two of her favorite looks: the French twist and chignon to come up with this unique design.”
