Newly engaged and soon to be married Molly Lambert is here to talk about gorgeous gowns, southern hospitality, and her darling Tennessee bridal boutique – Maggie Louise – in this newest installment of ‘inside the boutique!’
How did you come to find yourself in the bridal industry?
“Maggie Louise is the love child of spending over seven years within the wedding photography business. Behind the lens, I found myself falling head-over-heels for the details of the special day – in particular, the wedding dress.
I wanted to create a place with a one-of-a-kind experience where brides can come find their dream dress in an intimate environment, surrounded by the ones they love most. And with a big leap of faith, Maggie Louise came to life!”
What was the inspiration for the interior styling & design of your boutique?
“The interior design at Maggie Louise is meant to be a direct reflection of the Maggie Louise experience – easy and enjoyable. I chose clean, modern design to reflect an atmosphere that was chic, yet comfortable, and never chaotic. Planning a wedding can be a very overwhelming time, so I’ve found the ‘less is more’ concept worked perfectly for the boutique space.”
What gown will you be wearing at your own wedding?
“I can’t spill the beans just yet, but I can say I chose a gown by Rivini, a Maggie Louise designer. Before we were engaged, I spent countless nights trying to create my dream dress out of elements I like from all different styles, but had yet to run across a gown that was everything I wanted all in one.
Last April at bridal market, I saw THE dress walk down the runway and I knew it was without a doubt the one for me. It has everything I had dreamed of all rolled into one. The gown reflects both of our styles and our wedding day perfectly.”
You’ve talked about how important southern hospitality is during the bride’s experience at Maggie Louise – could you explain this a little bit?
“Southern hospitality simply means warm, inviting, and welcoming – which is how we want all of our brides to feel. By hosting only one bride at a time, we are able to offer our undivided attention and help bring her vision to life. I always want my bride to feel at home within these four walls, so it is my goal to go above and beyond to make sure she receives nothing less than our best.”
What is your top tip for brides who are searching for the perfect gown right now?
“My top tip for my brides is to enjoy this special time! It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, but coming in with an open heart and mind can make all the difference. The perfect gown is out there, I promise, so relax and enjoy your time to shine.”
I’d like to give a big mahalo to Annabella Charles Photography for sending these flawless images of Maggie Louise Bridal Boutique and to Molly for taking the time to answer these questions! Gorgeous floral design is by Haute Horticulture.
