I’ll always be the first to recommend that you have your hair and makeup done professionally for your wedding day. Not to look more beautiful but to be your most beautiful self.
#1 FULL BANGS & A FOCUS ON THE EYES
From Monica Burton Hair & Makeup – “It was such a pleasure working with Paige’s gorgeous hair. I felt like anything I did would look awesome. This was an intricate but soft style that I had a lot of fun doing. I liked that she had full bangs to pair with it. A full bang always beings attention to the eyes.
For the makeup it was all about her eyes for this look. It was surprising how much makeup her face could hold. I chose a peachy blush to echo her red hair and very little color on the lips to keep the focus on her eyes.”
#2 ROMANTIC WAVES & SOFT EYESHADOW
From Monica – “For this look I decided to go with an effortless and undone wave. I thought it would pair well with the interesting veil. You’d normally see the headpiece and instantly think that an updo would be best but the waves really work.
Melissa has great eyelids and wears shadows very well so I took advantage of that in this look. I decided to wing out her liner to lengthen her round eyes.”
#3 BALLERINA BUN & A YOUTHFUL GLOW
“This updo was ballerina-inspired. I wanted it to be softer than the standard sleek ballerina bun. I am a big fan of this hairstyle because I find it to be both youthful and romantic.
I wanted to keep her makeup minimal and fresh-faced to go with the youthful take on a ballerina bun. I chose to keep the focus on her lips since Alexandra has great lips!”
