Summer is almost here and there is no better way to kick off wedding season than with a playful and colorful citrus themed inspiration shoot from Ling Wang Photography. Conceptualized and brought to life by Ashley of Two Be Wed, this Houston, Texas editorial feels like a ray of sunshine!
From Ashley of Two Be Wed – “After an exceptionally long Houston winter I was craving summer – warmer weather, brighter hues, bold patterns, and fun & playful styles. I was inspired by color. I stumbled across a collection of brightly hued bowls in a West Elm magazine and it was a breath of fresh air. Bold and bright blue, green, yellow, orange, and pink that could easily transport you to a sunny beach in a tropical destination.
Color was the anchor for our design and we paired it with a clean and minimal yet bold and refreshing take on summer. Little pops of citrus detail in the floral designs and invitation suit gave it that extra elemental ‘zing’ to stand on its own.
We surprised ourselves with touches of geometric elements – colorful patterns woven into the invitation suite, white lattice chargers and overlapping chairs in stark white. Our bride was playful and fresh in the sequin studded Gemma gown from BHLDN and bold statement pieces from local jewelry designer, Kendra Scott.”
