sweet instagram tips

Partnered Post

When I started blogging I went from 0 to 100 in terms of social media within a week. Prior to that I was only using Facebook. Now I’m on pretty much all of them – as bloggers should be! The last platform for me to hop on was Instagram, but it has rapidly turned into one of my favorites.

I recently teamed up with Moo (whose business cards & stickers I adore – evidence here and here) to showcase their line of postcards. They have loads of different designs to choose from & you can even create your own. Moo’s postcards are printed on premium paper, are really durable, AND you don’t have to use them as typical postcards. You can use them to showcase whatever you’d like!

The ability to upload your own picture means that those of us in the wedding industry can create postcards for a multitude of purposes: showcase your new designs, share your favorite images with past clients, or send thank you notes from your latest styled shoot.

When Moo offered me a set of postcards I decided to use their adorable Sweet Things design, share a few of the Instagram tips and tricks I’ve learned, and send them off to some of my wedding industry peeps. (Check your mail!)

  1. These postcards are so adorable! I love the pie slice with the little heart; that one definitely has my name on it. Great Instagram tips as well!

  2. Great post!!!!

  3. Those are the cutest cards! Great tips too – especially about the filter – really gives your feed a consistent look. I was slow to adopt Instagram and now I love it!

  4. Love this. Great tips!

  5. So cute! And great tips!

  6. So adorable! I’m a huge fan of Moo too.

  7. I like the tips! I admittedly bounce between Valencia or Rise for my filters 🙂 Or no filter!

  8. Love the stationary! And these are great tips!

  9. I’m still fairly new to Instagram and never thought about being loyal to a filter. Do you apply filters to photos you’re teasing to on your blog (taken by another photog)? I’d love to create a more cohesive look to my feed but I’m hesitant to “compromise” others’ work – I’d love to hear your thoughts + what you do! Xx

    • Hi Sarah! I definitely don’t apply filters to any photographer’s work – so I’m one of the ‘no filter’ people for sure. No filter is one way to have a cohesive look!
