Brides who plan on wearing a flower crown on their wedding should definitely have a mock-up ready for their hair and makeup artist during the trial beauty run. You never know how the colors of the flowers will reflect on your face and you want to be sure to coordinate the look.
Karla from Blissful Makeup styled the bride’s hair and makeup in this mini beauty editorial from Seven Silver Swans Photography, and designed it all to work with the gorgeous flower crown. I just love how Karla pulled the exact blush color from the flower crown and used the same hue for eye shadow. The lips and eyeliner make the face pop – which should be the focal point of your look – not the flower crown.
From Karla of Blissful Makeup – “I created a pretty, soft, and romantic look for our bride using soft shimmering pinks and a brighter pop of pink on the lips. For the hair I chose loose curls, which allowed the flower crown to really stand out. Delicate jewelry compliments the romantic look without overwhelming the face or vying for attention from the flower crown. The beautiful pastel colors and feminine makeup are perfect for any wedding!”
