Filled with some of the most incredible wedding day looks I’ve ever seen, today’s fashion-forward editorial photographed by Lara Hotz is all kinds of epic – it features 4 bridal looks and 2 boudoir ensembles.
With styling by Stefanie Ingram and amazingly creative floral designs by Jardine Hansen, this shoot recently graced the pages of the newly relaunched Australian wedding magazine Hooray and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you here today!
Aje’s decadent, long-sleeved, gold sequins Liberty Wedding Dress is textural, raw, and absolutely jaw dropping. The button details on the sleeves are divine and this first look couldn’t be more flawless. Paired with berry hued flowers this wedding dress is the perfect glam juxtaposition to an outdoor setting. Truly – it’s so enchanting!
Kelsey Genna’s made to measure Winter Verona wedding dress from her 2014 collection is the perfect mix of demure and sultry beauty. Inspired by flowers, the cotton lace overlay gives an updated, bohemian look to a glamorous, wedding-worthy silhouette. The beautifully tapered, couture-like train is mimicked wonderfully by the cascading bridal bouquet.
This simple yet elegant black sequins Ariel gown from Rachel Gilbert is oh so glamorous and even has a little peplum detail – it’s the perfect look for a late summer or autumn wedding! I love the way the flower crown sits askew on the model’s head, giving an alluring little twist to the entire ensemble.
BOHEMIAN FLOWER BRIDE
For flower child brides Lover’s Elizabeth Dress from their White Magick Collection is a perfect choice. It has a 1960s / 1970s free-spirited bohemian vibe and the little dots and gauzy sleeves are precious. The oxford style shoes with ankle socks is an insanely unique choice of footwear and gives the bride an enviable quirkiness!
New Zealand’s Lonely Hearts label has some of the most perfect bridal lingerie out there. This first boudoir look in bright red features a two-strap bra and high-waisted briefs in stretch lace with an elastic trim. Add some flowers and a whimsical outdoor setting and it’s boudoir shoot Heaven.
This second boudoir look features Lonely Hearts‘ Lulu lace bodysuit and an incredible veil. With a flower crown to pin it all in place and a cascade of fresh blooms down the veil, I seriously can’t think of a dreamier way to shoot a boudoir session.
