It’s no secret that I’ve got a passion for Fiji and Kylie Stewart of Bula Bride provides the best Fiji-based wedding inspiration around. Today’s luscious editorial, conceptualized by Bula Bride and photographed by Leezett Photography shows several ways to make the most of your destination wedding & honeymoon in Fiji.
Destination couples often opt for a bridal sessions, boudoir shoots, and underwater portraits during their honeymoon – it’s such a good idea to make the most of such a beautiful location!
From Kylie of Bula Bride – “The talent within the Fiji wedding industry is nothing short of amazing. Since starting my blog I have had many fabulous opportunities to showcase the communities’ creativity.
Fiji provides a magical backdrop and playground that is perfect for romance. While couples are in Fiji for their wedding, they seek additional opportunities to work with their photographers, be it an engagement session, boudoir shoot, or underwater shoot.
Collaborating with Leezett Birch of Leezett Photography, I wanted to explore this a little further with a romantic series of shoots. Vomo Island Resort and neighboring island Vomo Lai Lai were the perfect settings for our concept. Vomo is an island for romance and its volcanic rocks provided an interesting contrast to the soft, romantic feeling of our styling.”
More from Bula Bride – “Candice Lee bridal separates help make the transition from wedding glam to boudoir chic. Adorned with Shut The Front Door headpieces and Forever Soles anklets and arm jewels along with gorgeous ‘just rolled out of bed’ hair and natural makeup by Hair N Mkp – our bride model had the perfect look. The introduction of a lush green bouquet added an element of grandeur and showcased the tropical foliage commonly found in Fiji.
The shoot moved into a more intimate setting on Vomo Lai Lai. The island is for the private use of guests staying at Vomo Island Resort and is romantically secluded. Keeping the essence of the tropics we also added a brighter lip color, softer hairstyling and draped materials to give a modest yet confident look.”
