Nestled against the iconic Pitons of Saint Lucia, Sugar Beach is an absolute gem of a resort. The luxury sugar mill rooms, villas, and beachfront bungalows are some of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever had the pleasure to see and stay in.
Chelsea of Bit of Ivory Photography pulled together an incredible honeymoon inspiration shoot – marrying the beauty of Sugar Beach with sophisticated luxury and romance.
As if these stunning images haven’t convinced you already as to what a fantastic place Sugar Beach would be for your Saint Lucia destination wedding and honeymoon – let me tell you about the rooms we stayed in…
Each was like a little house and when I say little I mean more like walk-in closet, chandeliers in the bathrooms (yes, multiple bathrooms), claw foot bathtubs, a spacious living room, and a giant patio with an infinity pool (click here to see more for yourself).
Not only that, but the butler service at Sugar Beach was out of this world. You ring your butler via a tiny cell phone whenever you need a ride somewhere, or in my case whenever you lock yourself out of your room. My first couple of hours there I went down to the beach (of course – look at it! So gorgeous…), and came back to unpacked bags and my clothes neatly hung in the giant closet – all thanks to my butler. They’ll even steam and press your dresses before dinner for you. It was a miracle – truly. Each and every detail of your room and your stay is immaculately looked after so all you have to do is enjoy yourself!
During our stay there, aside from whipping up this fabulous honeymoon inspiration shoot, Chelsea and I sampled each and every restaurant at Sugar Beach and they were all fabulous. My favorite was definitely the Cane Bar (a la this shot on Instagram) where they serve delicious sushi and sashimi. The property is covered in incredible art from the owner’s private collection and there were new delights around each and every corner. I honestly can’t recommend Sugar Beach enough!
I’d like to give a special thanks to my dear friend Chelsea for accompanying me on this incredible press trip. Not only is she a fabulous photographer, but she’s a fabulous friend as well.
