What to give your guy on your wedding day when he already has it all and is impossible to shop for? Bridal boudoir! Not only is a boudoir shoot the perfect gift for your beau, but you’ll feel amazing during and after your shoot, so it’s a gift to yourself as well. Today’s bridal boudoir inspiration shoot from Katherine Henry Boudoir shows just how stunning your own session can be.
From Katherine Henry – “Using soft laces and blush colors the bridal theme is showcased beautifully. Free People has a lovely assortment of clothing pieces that can be used during a boudoir shoot and have the feel of lingerie while staying classy and sweet.
We choose to feature both a short lace top and longer lace dress – both simply being paired over a cream or pink bra and bottom. We accessorized by using a BHLDN headpiece as a necklace. You don’t always need to use pieces the way they are presented!
Including florals into any shoot is just gorgeous so why not your boudoir session?! It’s the perfect time to create a custom bouquet that might be a little different from what you would use on your wedding day. Sweet Annie Floral Designs added painted gold baby’s breath among the pink roses. The look is beautiful, feminine and elegant!
For the makeup and hair looks we wanted elegant and natural. By doing a twisted up do you can have the glamour of pulled back hair, but the flirtation of something unique and different. Many people think ‘hair down’ for boudoir, but these images show you don’t have to think that way.”
