With my favorite array of colors (seriously – look at the similarities between the palette and this blog’s branding! Adore it) today’s frosty wedding editorial is absolutely divine. Photographed beautifully by Anastasia Bryukhanova, it speaks to the intimate and subtle beauty of winter and is backed with beautifully styled scenes and uniquely modern twists.
From Anastasia Bryukhanova – “I was inspired by the Russian winter for this wedding inspiration shoot. It was in the beginning of February, when the weather is frosty. There’s sparkling snow, ice, and nature all around and all of these we tried to incorporate into the shoot. Every single detail was full of frost!
A dress with a doubled skirt was chosen for the bride, which lightened up her look. A belt made of crystal framed the skirt. We also showed wintry imagery through the groom’s look: his pants and jacket in dark blue and grey-blue. We used a frozen lake to take portraits as the sun set and it was beautiful because the snow on the lake was shimmering and sparkling like real crystals.”
