With some truly unique floral designs from Braided Briar and stunning imagery from Loblee Photography, today’s wedding inspiration shoot is the very definition of ‘rustic feminine’ and just couldn’t be any prettier!
From Rebecca Hout of Braided Briar – “My inspiration behind the flowers for this shoot was pretty and pink. I’ve done a couple of edgy, dark shoots lately and I wanted to have it be light, romantic and soft. I love the pink and gold color combination, and the Romantic Antike garden rose is a current favorite of mine right now.
I also knew I wanted to make some interesting pieces that I hadn’t gotten a chance to create before. I’ve seen so many gorgeous flower photos with antlers, and while I had access to a great deer skull…it’s been done. When I found two perfect branches; and with the antlers as inspiration, I decided to create my own feminine take on the quintessential wall trophy.
The bouquet was pretty fluffy and traditional, but I liked playing a little with the shape and different shades of pink and white. The gold painted cake could not have been more perfect for pairing with some pink floral accents, and we had fun making a flirty little floral ring that matched the boutonniere. I’m in love with the candlesticks that we used to create small satellite arrangements, which worked out surprisingly well! All in all, I loved being part of such a pretty shoot with so many amazingly talented ladies.”
