When a group of wedding pros who all studied Art History in college come together and get creative you know it’s going to be exquisite! Today’s stunning fashion editorial was inspired by artist John Singer Sargent and his work can be seen throughout this editorial, the resemblances easily drawn between his art and the breathtaking images by Lisa O’Dwyer. This inspiration shoot is a real beauty!
From Frances of Prema – “John Singer Sargent’s grand portraits of the high society ladies of the Gilded Age stand the test of time as some of the most beautiful and mesmerizing examples of fine American painting.
In the creation of this shoot, we studied these portraits and were inspired by the opulence and elegance embodied by these striking women. We observed the grace and poise in their stance, the integrity and candor in their gaze and the nobility in their entire comportment. Inspired by the lush satin and delicate lace in their attire, we adorned our models in modern renditions of classic ball gowns and multiple strands of luminous pearls. Informed by the spirit of Sargent’s subjects, we updated the look for our models to speak to the refined aesthetic of the fine-art brides of today.”
Isn’t this just one of the prettiest fashion editorials you’ve ever seen? It’s so classic, so regal, so alluring, so romantic, and utterly timeless!
