There is something so innocent about hosting your first dinner party. Young couples, fresh new dishes, maybe you get to pull out your drink dispenser wedding gift for the first time, and what better excuse to get a giant centerpiece to fill your table?!
Brittni and David hosted their first dinner party as newlyweds and OMG was it a cute one. Styled by Wagner Weddings and Events & captured by Maddie Richards Photography – it’s sure to inspire ways to use your own registry items and kick off life as newlyweds!
From Wagner Weddings and Events – “When Brittni was deciding on colors and theme she knew she wanted to feature her turquoise Pottery Barn dishes from her registry from that she added fun pops of raspberry, terra-cotta, and gold to create a dreamy fiesta dinner party.
Hosting a dinner party is all about making your guests feel comfortable and welcome while still feeling like they are at a special event. So when it came to picking the details, Brittni wanted to make the table feel rustic with the perfect amount of sophistication. She had her husband, David, make a box out of reclaimed wood to hold the beautiful blooms; the plates had handwritten and hand-potted succulent place-cards, and the guests sipped on margaritas from her grandmother’s glasses.
This dinner party was all about fun bright colors and the celebration of the summer season!”
