Conceptualist and photographer of this fabulous shoot, Kitty Fried, really explains it best…
“I strongly believe that our Boho Bride is styled in a way that doesn’t make real brides feel like they have to sit in a tent on the beach playing a guitar. I think our bride shows that basically every woman who likes this kind of styling or fashion can ‘use’ this for her wedding day as well.
With different headpieces and accessories or shoes women have so many variations and possibilities finding their very personal way and their personal style being a ‘Boho-Bride’… and exactly that was my very intention for this bridal editorial.”
From Kitty Fried – “It’s time for brides getting more self-confident and brave in the ways of their styling on their BIG day. I think at least here in Germany women should be encouraged more to wear something without feeling dressed up in a way that doesn’t show their personality. That was the intention of creating these three different bridal stylings. They’re not too crazy and they show modern women how to dress on their wedding day whist remaining unaffected from too much tradition and representing only themselves.
Me personally I have chosen amongst others the bohemian theme because I absolutely fell in love with this somehow funky and independent style, with the easy of the way of life and with the self-confidence that comes along with this style.”
