From Rayna McGinnis Photography – “This shoot was inspired by the beautiful colors of succulents and the unique ways you can use them when designing your wedding. We wanted something super fun, yet different and came up with the idea of hanging succulents with the hopes that it will inspire brides to think outside of the box and to incorporate things they love into their wedding day!”
From Rayna McGinnis Photography – “Lilli from Bella Calla stepped in as the designer in this shoot and worked with Event Rents to come up with a beautiful tablescape. She also provided a variety of succulent plants to use at our disposal. We incorporated the succulents into the tablescape, dessert table, the wedding cake and we even had a hanging swing with mini white chocolates shaped just like the cake. They were absolutely adorable. She also handmade the swing that held the white chocolate dessert cakes.
We held the shoot at a new and upcoming wedding venue in Denver called Blanc. It’s a hidden gem tucked away into an old warehouse district and you wouldn’t even know it’s there unless you were looking for it!”
From Rayna McGinnis Photography – “The day itself was pretty crazy, it rained the entire time. This is pretty unusual for Denver but just like a wedding day, the show must go on! It worked out perfectly because the lighting as the rain clouds started to clear was amazing and our models, Kellsie and David Moore, were willing to stand out in the cold rain so that we could get some photos that really captured the romantic atmosphere of Blanc.”
