From Mandy Forlenza Sticos – “Maria Doka Photography and I wanted to keep this bridal inspiration shoot very light, airy and local! We both live in Queens, NY so the new and chic Paper Factory Hotel with a perfect venue choice. From their white and mirrored ‘Newsroom’ to their private garden; it served as a beautiful backdrop.”
From Mandy Forlenza Sticos – “The creative direction for the shoot was simple, bright with lots of clean details. I had too much fun styling the neutral toned calligraphy from Fleur de Letters and loads of white flowers, including Patience garden roses from Blooms by the Box. The handmade plates by Jill Zeidler lit up the table and the dupioni silk ribbon by Midori adorned the bouquet to perfection.
Tatayana Merenyuk is one of my favorite designers and her tailoring is like no other I’ve ever seen. Her dress was the most elegant addition and light as air. I completed the look with a few rings and necklace by Confetti by Annette and a sweet veil, hair comb and shoes by Nina Shoes.
Robyn our model is a natural beauty and Anny Chow worked her magic creating a light bridal look for hair + make up. I loved the pop of lip color Anny selected and the sweet low bun.
Of course the day flowed smoothly with assistance from Angela Kostaras, which was all captured flawlessly by Maria Doka, who makes styling a dream!”
