Flower crowns are definitely still one of the top trends in weddings this year (and frankly, thank goodness because I adore them!). But what happens when you combine flower crowns with a NYC high-fashion twist?! You get some seriously jaw-dropping avant-garde looks, uniquely for both the aisle and the runway.
Fresh, fun, and joyous are all words associated with spring and this profusion of pinks certainly brings that feeling to life!
Hot temperatures and languorous days are shown through both the color palette and asymmetrical design of this gorgeous flower crown.
Decadent and rich, the deep wine hues of this flower crown couldn’t be more fall appropriate, along with berries and tried leaves reminiscent of the changing colors of the season.
An Indian Summer is a period of unexpected an unseasonable warmth occurring late in fall and this flower crown displays that idea perfectly. I’ve definitely never seen anything like it! It shows a late bloom and last hurrah before winter!
Textural blooms, seeds, and pods, plus a snowy color palette and hat-like shape make this creation the perfect avant-garde look for those December days.
From The Arrangement Floral Design – “The shoot was organized by Erica, the makeup artist, who wanted to put together beauty shoot that was bridal driven but more bold. We (the florist) came in with an updated, avant-garde spin on flower crowns and decided to focus each look on color palettes reflecting the four seasons and one for Indian summer.”
Winter has a vintage touch inspired by Hollywood starlets, spring has a fresh makeup look with big blossoming candy colored pinks and purple. Summer is a laid back, natural woodland inspired look. Fall reflects a rich, warm palette for both makeup and floral. We all wanted to create a shoot with lots of color and different makeup moods and push the envelope a bit while still being able to translate to bridal!”
