As many of you who know and follow this blog on Instagram, a few months ago I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the Bahamas at Sandals’ Royal Bahamian all-inclusive resort with fellow Aisle Society wedding bloggers and Alexis June Weddings captured all of it. Not only was the resort and our experience there spectacular, but we had an absolute blast, as you can probably imagine when so many wonderful ladies in the same industry get together!
The whole point of us all being at Sandals together was to not only do some Aisle Society activities (and in many cases – meet each other for the first time!) but we also wanted to experience what Sandals had to offer in terms of WeddingMoons.
What is a weddingMoon? At Sandals, you can marry the wedding and the honeymoon into one, worry-free WeddingMoon! Say your vows and then start the honeymoon (aka: the fun bit)! Or, spend some time after your wedding partying with your family, then a short flight and you can be at another Sandals resort for your honeymoon. The best part is that from start to finish, from wedding planning to walking down the aisle in your dream dress, to your honeymoon, Sandals makes sure that you don’t have to worry about a thing.
We all experienced this #noworrymoment first hand. Sandals’ travel coordinators booked all of our flights from all corners of the US and around the world (Gaby from South Africa, Stephanie from California, Louise from the UK… all 18 of us from everywhere!). After arrival we were whisked away from the airport, driven through Nassau and to Paradise Island where the Sandals Royal Bahamian can be found.
The rooms were clean, lovely, and even had welcome chocolates and a fridge full of champagne (and THAT is why all inclusive resorts are awesome. You don’t have to worry about the food or drinks tab afterwards – it’s all included! Imbibe and indulge to your heart’s content.)
As a tried-and-true beach girl I can also report with authority that the beaches at Sandals Royal Bahamian were fantastic! White sand, clear water, and even a secluded island just offshore that you can use for your rehearsal dinner, wedding, or your own lovely getaway, where we had a fabulous dinner with our shoes off, fire dancers, delicious bites, and a dance party.
As you know, here at Burnett’s Boards we’re all about the style and design of your wedding. One of the best things about Sandals’ WeddingMoons is that while you don’t have to worry about a thing, you also don’t have to sacrifice your wedding vision. Sandals has every color of the rainbow to choose from for your wedding day palette and they showcased several chic reception table designs that you’ve seen throughout this post! (My personal fav: the tablescape with the tropical Bird of Paradise and Orchid centerpiece!) All of their weddings are bespoke and customizable, so that you get EXACTLY what you’ve always been dreaming of.
But enough from me – YOU should head on over to check out #noworrymoment WeddingMoons, Sandals’ interactive planning tool, and so much more here!
