From the bride, Ashlene – “There are so many things people warn you about leading up to your wedding day: ‘enjoy the day it goes by too fast,’ ‘it’ll be over before you know it,’ ‘make sure you take a little time during the day for yourselves,’ or my personal favorite, ‘enjoy the planning process, it’s the best part!’

While I certainly don’t see myself as a wedding planner in the near future, all the other advice holds true. The day did in fact seem to fly by and the few moments we got by ourselves (thanks to Ali) are some of my favorite memories from the day.” Looking back on the day, not everything went perfectly or to plan, but those moments were like little fun surprises sprinkled throughout, that made both of us laugh looking back on them.”

“Weddings are nothing short of magical (another phrase you’ll hear over and over, yet again completely holds true) and I will never forget the look on our grandparents, parents, family and friends faces when we got married and throughout the entire night. Pure bliss wouldn’t do those feelings justice, which is why being able to share our love and happiness with our favorite people in the world was my favorite part.

We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing family and friends that surrounded us on our special day and continue to shower us with endless love and support. In the meantime we will continue to relive that day through our amazing photos, friends and families stories of the day, and far too many laughs.”
