From Purewhite Photography and Romina Rezza (the stylist and designer) comes this subtly beautiful, vintage yet contemporary wedding inspiration shoot in Southern France. Inspired by the colors and atmosphere of the Mediterranean, the color palette utilizes white, pastel green, blush pink, and natural tones.
The white rock that reflects the light of summer and the colors of the Mediterranean, the narrow streets full of succulents and fragrant flowers , such as climbing jasmine decorating doors and windows. All this inspired the editorial design; a romantic and graceful bride, with a touch of vintage!
From Purewhite Photography and Romina Rezza – “The bride donned two amazing dresses by Atelier Yooj that stand out for their simplicity and rare elegance of the lines with always quality fabrics and amazing attention to detail. The dresses are in soft silks hand-dyed and embellished with precious French lace embroidery!
From Purewhite Photography and Romina Rezza – “The inspiration for the wedding table came from the contemporary vintage mood of The French Riviera and from our personal love for ecological and raw materials.
In preparing the tableware we turned to a new project called ‘Food For Good’ where people recycle food waste to create a series of bespoke and hand-made items using only natural dyes. Fruits and vegetables that don’t reach the consumers, because of aesthetic reasons or overproduction, are subjected to extraction processes for coloring fabrics, paper, ribbons and twines.
For this wedding inspiration shoot we chose a tablecloth dyed with artichokes bought at a popular market, so the color is a bright yellow with natural green shades! The napkins, instead, have been dyed with red onions and have been bought at the same place. Their color is a cute pink pastel.”
“The dishes were created for this editorial by a young architect and ceramic artist called Alice Reina (Bianco di china is the name of her project). Her ceramics are inspired by nature and its soft shapes; the dishes we chose are made of porcelain and do not have regular profiles, but harmonious and organic edges that make the objects vibrant and alive. “
Since we have a very big passion for vintage styling, we decided to use brass cutlery and two kids of glasses bought some time ago at a popular antique market. The water glasses’ surface is characterized by incisions that create decorative patterns, whilst the rim of the wine chalices are embellished by gold.
The stationery is designed entirely by hand by Cecilia B Calligraphy who used rosè gold ink for a sophisticated touch and the delicious wedding cake is by Aurora Agabiti!”
