From Brandwold Photography – “It was a cold and windy day here in Sweden which made it a perfectly lovely day at the castle! Bogesunds Castle has a fascinating history and was constructed in the 1640s. Since then it has been dedicated a historic building and protected. It has beautiful halls, narrow staircases, secret walls and even a chapel for those who want to tie the knot at a castle in Sweden.
Inspired by the theme of a winter wedding we wanted to create a stripped down and beautifully rustic look to compliment the interior of Bogesunds Castle. We used a great hall on the top floor that once served as a ballroom to stage our wintry wedding celebration!”
From Brandwold Photography – “Early in the planning stage we decided to stick with the cold, frosty feeling of the blue colors, which was also suited very well to the castle’s interior. Crisp blue anemones meets delicate forget-me-dancing with the aroma of eucalyptus throughout. The bride carried a mischievous, wild bouquet with a base of olive branches, rosemary and eucalyptus and for the groom we had a matching corsage with a cornflower blue anemone.
The dinner table was also in blue hues with hints of snow-white lilacs which together with the stationary offered a more bohemian theme than the strictly classic look. The cake was decorated in order to match the light blue eucalyptus as well as the far dark blue in blueberries!”
