From the bride, Lily – “Mike proposed during a trip with my dad to visit my family in Belize. We were on a beautiful island named San Pedro and enjoying the perfect, sunny day. Mike came up to the room and asked me to watch a video on his phone. He left the room and I quickly realized what was happening. The video was of him telling me how much I mean to him followed by a photo montage of us over the years. At the end of the video he asked me to go find him.
I quickly ran downstairs to the beach and found him waiting for me at the end of the pier. In front of my family he got down on one knee and melted my heart. Making the entire proposal extra special was the fact that my dad had planned the whole production with Mike, and seeing the approval and respect he has for my future husband was amazing; I am truly blessed!”
“The Addison was only the second venue we visited! Once we both saw the beautiful Banyan trees and met with Grace, we knew this was the venue for us. Mike and I love nature and love spending time outside. There was no question we wanted to say ‘I do’ outdoors, but we also wanted a romantic environment and we found both at the Addison.”
“For our immediate future as a married couple I am looking forward to renovating the house Mike and I just bought in Boca Raton and making it our own. We are thrilled to be doing this big project together and know we will enjoy gradually watching our house transform into a home!”
