the yellow skittle

The yellow skittle gets a bad rap. It polls poorly. In fact, in a recent survey, only 9% of respondents said that the yellow skittle was their favorite. I quite like the yellow skittle. ¬†According to Urban Dictionary, yellow skittles are “hot, popular, people who tend to make others feel threatened, but once you get to know them you will learn how awesome they truly are.” So next time you come across a yellow skittle, take the time to break through that hard, sugary shell and taste the rainbow.

Sweet trivia: Skittles were first produced in Britain in 1974 and were imported to America in 1979. Domestic production of these delightful confectionaries began in 1982.
