blush and peach garden wedding inspiration

Samantha wrote: “I’m a long-time reader of your blog and have finally decided to take the plunge to ask for an inspiration board! My fiance Steve and I are getting married in May of next year at the Old York Club in Spring House, outside of Philadelphia. We are using the terrace for cocktails and the inspiration for our wedding was drawn from the garden area our ceremony will be held in. We’re hoping to create a romantic feeling focusing on blush and peach colors with some floral prints. We want to incorporate turquoise accents with pops of chevron to add a modern twist.”wedding color palette A garden wedding is naturally romantic and the palette you’ve picked is stunning! Be sure to use floral print wedding invitations to let guests know what the mood and vibe of your wedding will be and to set the tone for the event. Bistro lights, for either night or day, are a wonderful touch to add to the terrace where cocktails will be served, and blush and peach colors can be easily incorporated both into your wedding cake and bridal bouquet! A nice way to modernize things and add the pops of turquoise you want are with chevron escort cards and using bits of blue (glassware or napkins) at your place settings. Floral print paper straws are also a sweet and unexpected twist on the more common striped paper straws!

Congratulations to Samantha and Steve on your engagement! Bride-to-be: don’t forget that you can request your own wedding inspiration board here.
