alternative rock the dress shoot

Today’s Fashion Friday post from Hello Miss Lovely is such a treat! Shannon and John were married over a year ago, but one day isn’t enough to rock your dress so Shannon donned her gorgeous gown again for this shoot. What I love most about this shoot is that Shannon’s personality really shines through. This wife and mother hasn’t lost her rock n roll edge and is an avid music and book lover, so the Sundog Book Store and Central Square Records locations are perfection!

Autumn & Amy of Hello Miss Lovely had this say: “Shannon, a wife, mother, and a great friend to both of us was such a beautiful bride a year ago! Sitting around, we thought about how sad it is that once you’re married you never wear your dress again. That’s just NOT okay! Enter our new take on wedding and bridal portraits. We want these sessions to portray who the bride really is. It’s our aim to capture her personality, her loves, all in her BEST dress!”

And this shoot certainly did that! The alternative style is amazing and so much more fun than traditional ‘let’s sit you in a chair’ bridal portraits. Bravo Shannon and thank you Hello Miss Lovely for this wonderful and inspiring submission!
