I’ve got to preface this week’s vendor spotlight post by saying – editing my friends’ wedding was SO difficult! Raleigh and Lindsay’s vintage garden themed wedding here in Hawaii was an absolute delight to attend and I couldn’t be happier for these two. They are truly meant to be together and their love for each other shines through each of these gorgeous images from Christina Heaston Photography.
Three fabulous BB Vendors were involved in bringing Lindsay & Raleigh’s big day vision to life: Ever After Events planned it and provided the lawn games, Passion Roots designed the gorgeous bouquet & centerpieces, and the bride wore a sparking 1920s style hairpiece from Olivia!
Wasn’t that just the most beautiful wedding?! Lindsay’s bouquet was fantastic -‘vintage garden’ to a T. Passion Rootsincorporated dahlias, garden roses, spray roses, calcynia, ruscus, eucalyptus, scabiosa and brunia berries into it.
From Shereen of Ever After Events – “I absolutely loved working with Lindsay & Raleigh on their ‘romantic garden meets vintage ranch’ wedding. Aside from being stunningly beautiful and with a style that would make Anthropologie jealous, Lindsay is extremely creative, artistic, and detail oriented.
It was imperative to the couple that every piece of the day be not only beautiful and unique, but also centered around their loved ones. They asked several of their friends to participate in various aspects of their day: one played guitar for Lindsay’s walk down the aisle, another officiated the ceremony, and a third, who is also a local chef, prepared the family style meal from scratch!
My favorite elements of the wedding were the pieces that Lindsay crafted to perfection. The breezy fabric swaying from the trees was hand dyed with tea to create just the right color. The Kransekage wedding cake was a delicious almond treat flown in from Seattle to pay homage to her Danish heritage. Last but not least, those gorgeous little golden animals that held each person’s place the table were adorable!
A little bit romantic garden, a little bit vintage ranch, a little bit mini menagerie, and whole lot of gorgeous!”
