this is what happens when a fashion designer weds

What happens when one of this nation’s fabulous emerging new fashion designers gets married? Absolute magic. Shot beautifully by Amanda K Photography, Angela and Alexander’s wedding is one for the books. It is definitely one of the most gorgeously editorial weddings that I have ever seen.

Angela Sum designed not only her own exquisite wedding dress, but also all four of her bridesmaids’ gowns. She has interned with Cynthia Rowley and Alexander Wang and won the Fashion Institute of Technology’s award for draping techniques – it’s easy to see why!

If you loved this wedding then I’ve got some good news for you. Even more images from it and quotes from the bride (who amazingly not only acted as couture dress designer, but also wedding planner and stylist) are featured in Magnolia Rouge’s new magazine – which is going to print! But be quick – today is the last day to place an order. At over 200 pages, it’s really more of a book than a magazine and I can’t wait to get mine!
