Highlighting Oahu’s beautiful and lush Ko’olau Mountain Range was a must for the second inspiration shoot in the Ku’u Lei series. Conceptualized and photographed by Chelsea of Bit of Ivory Photography and Orchestrated Stylized Shoots, it’s a lightly stylized love session with two of my dear friends – Jose and Nick – modeling for it!
Vintage lawn games and a hat were used as props and helped convey the casual island chic vibe we were going for and with the clouds rolling over the mountains, this shoot truly couldn’t be any more stunning! Did you notice Jose’s amazing Hawaiian Islands tattoo? I just love it.

Beautiful, beautiful photos and location! This makes me want to live in Hawaii so badly! Also, I’m not a tattoo person, but I love that tat! Lovely couple.
Such wonderful inspiration and gorgeous views! I like their laid back outfits and the vintage lawn games. Perfect!
Lovely shoot, and the Ko’olau Mountain Range looks amazing!
I love the vintage vibe! Gorgeous!
What a great couple! They look like they were having such fun with lawn games and the shoot itself! Love the vintage feel of those shirts, the hat, and that amazing tattoo!
As always, beautiful photography and aesthetics. And what a great-looking couple! Give us more like this!
You can feel the love!
Wow! Another home run for Bit of Ivory Photography and Burnett’s Boards! What a great backdrop for Jose, Nick, and their croquet game. Absolutely stunning 🙂
Oh my goodness…I adore this. My favorite image is the 4th one down where Jose and Nick are kissing but you can’t see the tops of their heads. There’s just such a tender feel…I LOVE it. Definitely a love filled shoot all around!
That’s one of my favs too. That and the first black and white one – the happiness!
Super obsessed with those mountains! And so grateful to have had such a wonderful couple to make those mountains even more wonderful! <3
