Today’s gorgeous wedding inspiration shoot from Kimberly Chau Photography focuses on Pantone’s Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, and it’s all prettily packaged with a deliciously unique Southern twist. Designed by Christina Landrum of Pomp & Circumstance and Maria Maxit of Maxit Floral Design, this editorial is irresistibly stylish!
From Kimerby Chau – “Christina of Pomp & Circumstance and Maria of Maxit Floral Design styled the entire scene at the Berner Family Farm in Washington County, Texas. We used a mix of soft pinks and bright purples to bring this southern feel and country-inspired shoot to life.
Christina picked a flowing violet tulle skirt with an adorable pair of Cordovan boots for our bride and the groom wore a handsome suite from Billy Reid. They looked stunning as they modeled on a dreamy denim chaise that we dropped right in the middle of a field at the farm. With a set of eclectic china, antique silver flatware, and ruffled burlap linens, the details created the most magical dining setting nestled in the woods. And of course, our look wasn’t complete without a cute bar serving homemade blackberry sparkling sangria!
Major yum.
We also had the most adorable pup model too. Christina’s fluffy dog wearing a gorgeous floral wreath totally stole the show!”

That shirt! How cool! AndI love that doggies are becoming so popular in shoots right now – I have a cute session coming up this week with a two little fur kids and lots of glitter! xx
Thank you so much for the feature! We are honored.
I love Southern Style. It’s always such a lively mix of elegant and casual details. The purple skirt in this shoot is such a surprising and refreshing detail!
Those florals, that skirt, that tablecloth! Um yeah, I’m in wedding planning heaven. So much inspiration here!
Such an adorable puppy 🙂
Love the floral Arrangements from Maxit Flower Design. What masterpieces!
Super pretty, and adorable little furball! 🙂
Love the bit of orange in the flowers – it sets off the purple so nicely! That layered place setting is awesome (that horseshoe plate needs to be mine!), and anytime a dog is in a wedding shoot, it’s a definite delight!
That skirt is so much fun. What a wonderful shoot!!
Huge thanks for the feature! My Layla dog is pretty excited too…she’s famous now! xoxo
I love the mixed china! The horseshoe plate is darling. So is that pup in the wagon. I want one of those to pull Kitty around in. She probably wouldn’t be as cooperative though.
I love the look of a skirt with a button down shirt. The florals are gorgeous and I’m loving anything in radiant orchid. It’s such a great color and pairs perfectly with the touches of orange. PS: that sangria looks delish 😉
Such a fun, modern palette!
