A surprise snowstorm added a beautiful layer of lovely to today’s Aztec styled wedding inspiration shoot by Tyler Rye Photography. I would never have guessed that summery colors and a desert theme could look so fabulous against a sheet of white snow!
From Tyler Rye – “We designed this inspiration shoot for a wedding showcase here in St. George, Utah. We wanted to showcase the desert landscape here in southern Utah and tie that in with our décor for the shoot. I built the table for the shoot myself and now it’s my desk!
What we got was an Aztec inspired wedding with a surprise snowstorm that in the end, I think made it look even prettier.”

Love this! The scenery is so pretty and that cake is wonderful.
Such a fun twist on a desert bohemian shoot – the snow makes it all the more romantic!
Thank you so much for the feature! This was such a fun shoot. We were a little worried the snow was going to ruin everything but it turned out to make it better!
How warm and inviting! xx
i’m loving the entire vibe of this – and those bright, vibrant colors are amazing!

This is amazing! I love that cake!
I love the vibe of this wedding, and would love to have similar arrangments with the bright pops of color. Can you tell me what flowers are in the cinterpieces and the bouquet?
Where is the headpiece from? I’ve been searching online and I cannot find anything like it.
Hey! It was actually a necklace that we just used as a head piece!
