There is little that can top the romance of a French-style bohemian elopement set against the gorgeous backdrop of a countryside chateau. Designed perfectly by Monique of French Wedding Style (who else?!) and captured by Cat Hepple Photography – the mix of boho and elegant details is breathtaking.
From Monique at French Wedding Style – “I wanted to share my love affair with all types of weddings in France. The inspiration for the shoot was taken from two lovers who steal away for an intimate elopement in the French countryside.
In the magical setting in the Loire Valley, we showcased two French wedding dress designers (Laure de Sagazan and Rime Arodaky), both with an effortlessly chic yet bohemian style. Keeping true to our theme we included a French-made bohemian headdress by Rhapsodie Paris, plus a sumptuous floral crown by French Flower Style.”
The story – “Let us transport you into the French countryside for a bohemian elopement experience, set against the fairytale backdrop of Chateau Challain in the Loire Valley. The romantic outdoor sweetheart table featured a vintage lace tablecloth over rustic wine crates, adorned with exquisite kissing plates and romantic blooms.
The newlywed couple nestles into their intimate reception setting and read ornate love poems by Calligraphy for Weddings, before relaxing for an afternoon of sumptuous French wine, food, and literary accompaniments.
Adventuring into the grounds of the Chateau, the bride wears an open back lace wedding dress with a complimenting lace bridal cap. The couple while away the afternoon on a hand decorated floral swing, hanging from the branches of an ancient tree in front of the gothic chateau.”
