When a wedding planner gets engaged – you know it’s going to be good! Sarah of Pink Paisley Events conceptualized and styled her and Brandon’s engagement session with Hannah Truly Photography around the theme of apples and it turned out beautifully!
From Sarah of Pink Paisley Events – “As a wedding planner I wanted to focus on the detailed elements of my engagement photos. It was hard to choose a perfect place but as I toured the city of Denver and a little bit outside I found Ya Ya Apple Orchard and Farm and loved it!
The theme I chose for the shoot was ‘Apple of My Eye’ which was totally appropriate for the venue. Because caramel apples and the fall are two of our favorite things the design just had to center around apples.
My good friend and personal stylist went shopping to pick out our outfits and they reflected our personalities perfectly. Brandon loves plaid and I love flowers so Aniko (the stylist) put together our looks with elements from Anthropologie, Nordstrom, H&M, Valentino and Express.
I chose to add a vintage dresser into the shoot to add a large item to focus on. Fiori Flowers out of Boulder donated the flowers and the arrangement even had apples in it!
Overall, I think it reflected our love story beautifully.”
