Today’s rustic wedding inspiration shoot takes ‘rustic weddings’ to a whole new level and I just adore it! With an explosion of fun colors and unique styling details, the ladies at N-Joy! Weddings and Events really created something fabulous here and Carolynn Seibert Photography captured it all beautifully.
From Lesley of N-Joy! Weddings and Events – “In creating and producing this shoot, we wanted to give brides (and all those planning events) a fun, bright, and whimsical inspiration. We wanted a color combo that was exciting and new; something that would spark inspiration, so we incorporated lots of bright and neon colors. The ceremony and reception took place in a barn. We wanted to show that you can do electric colors in a rustic venue. We love that contrast.
We included some DIY elements that anyone can do like spray painting gold candlesticks, painting the rims of water glasses, and creating those fun pinatas. Those were easier said than done, but the final project was worth it!”
From N-Joy! Weddings and Events – “The storyline of this shoot follows a bride and groom who have a bright, rustic ceremony full of emotion and love, and then have a blast at their reception. The bride changes into a fun, flirty cocktail dress and lets her hair down, and the pair of them enjoy the afternoon drinking lemonade, eating cotton candy, and playing with pinatas!
This shoot was made all the more sweet because we used real couple Maddy and Tim, who actually celebrated their one year wedding anniversary the weekend before the shoot. You can certainly see the real love and tenderness radiating from them in the photos, and it’s so wonderful to have that celebration mirrored in all the details.”

I’ve been waiting to see neon and rustic come together in a styled shoot! This is so much fun. I want that cotton candy machine in my house.
That cake is something else! Always fantastic to see creative, fresh ideas like these.
