The eclectic, travel-inspired, bohemian wedding style in this inspiration shoot from Westwood Design and Paper & Primrose is enviable for its gorgeousness… and as if that wasn’t enough to love, it’s also one of the most budget-friendly wedding editorials I’ve ever seen!
From Georgia at Westwood Design – “From my Nana’s living room to the streets of India, there is an abundance of overwhelmingly opulent design all made with small amounts of money. I wanted to transfer this concept to the wedding world, set against the English countryside in the garden of a small cottage.
So many people presume you need a lot of money to make a beautiful wedding but I often find that some of the most expensive weddings are the most unoriginal and I’m determined to prove that you can stand out of the crown in your own personal way provided you work with the right people and think on your feet!”
From Westwood Design – “I borrowed and gathered as much as I could from the people who inspire me (most notably my world traveling super glamorous Nana!) and set out to design the most lavish, yet bohemian budget-friendly wedding shoot I could imagine. It’s amazing what a can of gold spray paint can do!
Our photographer duo, Paper & Primrose love bright colors, as you can see from their photographs. Their adoration for deep, rich tones worked perfectly with the colors found in Moroccan throws and cushions. Whilst opulent, I was keen to keep everything looking clean and fresh. Dark reds and burnt oranges were combined with café au lait dahlias and silvery eucalyptus and I used crockery and vases from Helene Millot, who provides opulence at its best! The cakes were homemade and the fruit was either picked or bought at the local farmers market in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
What made this wedding inspiration shoot completely glamorous was the gorgeous Daughters of Simone wedding dresses, provided to us by Heart Aflutter bridal boutique in London. They perfectly encapsulated the ethereal gypsy feel of travelers all over the world; floaty and worn barefoot – obviously!”

Thank you Burnetts Boards for the lovely feature! It’s been a pleasure being a part of this project!
Not only do you find the most beautiful styled shoots ever, but you masterfully curate the images to tell a delectable story. This is gorgeous! I especially love the rustic quality of the cake juxtaposed with the opulence of the gilded gold leaves. What fun!
You’re the sweetest – thank you for all your kind words!
Oh my that chocolate cake with gold leaves looks amazing! This shoot is absolutely stunning.
I love all the gilded details, but most especially those elephant seats!
What a great concept! We love all the rich colors and beautiful floral touches!
These images are so pretty, some of them almost look as if they are a painting.
Pretty paper!
The elephant seats! I can’t even! I also love the gilded details. And, side note, how amazing is that auburn hair color? That is just not fair!
