What a treat – two Austin, Texas hill country wedding inspiration shoots in a row! I love all the chic, rustic editorials I’ve been seeing from this city lately. Today’s shoot from Al Gawlik Photography is titled Brass and Lace, and effortlessly combines masculine details with more feminine ones along with a modern yet rustic aesthetic.
From Al Gawlik Photography – “With some of the most breathtaking views of the Texas Hill Country, it’s not hard to get swept away by Red Corral Ranch. We wanted to find a way to embrace its rustic elements and still make it feel contemporary. With that in mind, the design team at Pink Parasol Designs and Coordinating got together with Birch and Brass Vintage Rentals, Whim Florals, and Lovebirds Sweets to create this sophisticated look.
Using crisp geometric lines and brass accents helped keep the feel modern. It really was all the subtle details that finished this look off: matching brass foxes, gold etched tumblers with a hint of green, and a tasting menu fit for a beer connoisseur. But the real start was our actual bride-to-be Rosalyn and the Romantic Waters gown from Serendipity Bridal Boutique. The lace detailing and modern silhouette were a perfect pairing for this elegant style.”
