With a chic art gallery setting, Lucy and Tyler’s New Year’s Eve wedding was unique compared to other NYE weddings in how minimal it was. Not only did they create a gorgeous and beautiful experience for themselves and their guests along with planner & designer Amanda Douglas Events, but they stayed on budget as well!
From Amanda Douglass Events – “The main priority for the Lucy and Tyler’s wedding was to make it as enjoyable for their guests as possible, without breaking their budget. All of their splurges went towards making their guests have an amazing experience.
For décor we wanted to focus on creating an organic and intimate atmosphere for our guests. We did this by bringing in warm lighting with string bulbs and candles and using wood accents as well as lowering the high ceilings with draped fabrics.
The color palette was mostly white and brown with soft touches of color. One thing we decided early on was not to make the wedding too trendy or ‘copycat.’ We wanted to make sure that the wedding was unique. In the end, we crafted an event that was perfect for Lucy & Tyler!”
