Last week I had the honor of attending Joelle Perry’s fashion show here in Honolulu where she showcased both some of her couture designs and some of her new ready-to-wear line. It was amazing! (see here). Today, Joelle Perry’s brilliance is on full display with this gorgeous seaside bridal editorial photographed by What A Day! Photography and Kylie Martin.
I love that this bridal inspiration shoot showcases some of the ‘darker’ sides to Hawaii – lava rocks and brooding beauty! Joelle Perry’s wedding dress is absolutely divine set against such a stunning backdrop and with such beautiful, natural details.

Gorgeous! I love the black pearls!
Wow. Perfectly styled; perfectly photographed; and perfectly curated. I love the texture of that first image and that the brides dress resembles a waterfall in the fourth image. This blog is the true intersection between art, fashion, and weddings. Bravo!
You’re too sweet! xx
So gorgeous! The first image is absolutely stunning. Love this styled shoot.
Love these gowns, and the Hawaiian scenery!
Ahh this is so so gorgeous and unique! I love the use of black coral and pearls!
So much pretty! I love it.
Absolutely beautiful. That first image is out of this world stunning…LOVE!
Love the shades of grey and pewter against the clean, white, fresh feel of the gown and sand.
I love seeing the sketch of the gown with the gorgeous finished design!
Seriously, how beauty would this black coral be as a bridal bouquet (if faux or substantially sourced)?
Just beautiful!
I love the “darker” sides of Hawaii – especially the black beaches of Maui. Stunning photo shoot!
