Today’s darling rustic wedding editorial from Laura Smith Photography effortlessly combines feminine details with a ranch setting and to top it all off the real couple who modeled in the shoot ended up renewing their vows on the spot!
From Laura Smith Photography – “This was a styled shoot inspired by romantic country details. Our couple was Melissa and Ray; a real married couple that was ecstatic to have the opportunity to renew their vows and gain some updated wedding photos. We did a first look with Melissa and Ray before we started the couple’s portraits and his reaction to seeing her for the first time was the sweetest!
Our venue was a working cattle ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado called the Lone Star Ranch, and we used the property for portraits and the barn for our setup. We had a gourmet cupcake display in lieu of a traditional wedding cake, and we had an incredible wine and cheese sideboard setup. Everything was coordinated to be romantic, feminine, and vintage with lace details and pops of red and pink. We even held an actual recommitment ceremony after dark in the barn that was lit with candles and market lights.”

How cute that they renewed their vows right there and then!
Isn’t that the sweetest? Thats why I love it when real couples model for shoots – you never know what is going to happen!
This is so sweet and romantic!
