What a totally unique wedding inspiration shoot I have for you today from the French Alps. l’Artisan Photographe and their team of creatives combined a rustic, mountaineering vibe with a modern design one and the outcome is absolutely amazing! It defies definition, uses an unexpected color palette, and it just has to be seen to be believed!
From Camille of l’Artisan Photographe – “We wanted an atmosphere and a decor inspired by mountains and mountaineering but in a loft where design was very important, which is where our ‘urban alpine’ wedding inspiration shoot stemmed from! We chose a color palette with anthracite gray, brown, blue, indigo, orange and aluminum and as raw materials: cement vases, lots of aluminum and geometric shapes for our menu and announcement.
A heartwarming tea-time vignette with hot coffee and an old coffee machine, baked pears, chocolate cake, orange pie and clementines reminded us of our childhoods in the French Alps and was a darling addition to our wedding inspiration shoot.
We loved the play between the ‘rustic’ mountain details such as big wool socks, wool sweater, leather ankle boots against more feminine things like lace. It provided a balance like the balance between our urban yet alpine wedding editorial.”
